1. Enforcement Officer (EO) – BS-14

  • No. of Posts: 36
  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (16 years education) with at least 2nd division from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Physical Criteria (Male): Height 170 cm, Chest 34”-36”, BMI 27, 9-minute running
  • Physical Criteria (Female): Height 160 cm, BMI 27, 14-minute running
  • Age Limit: 22 to 32 years
  • Eyesight: 6/6 with glasses (Color blindness not eligible)

2. Investigation Officer (IO) – BS-11

  • No. of Posts: 99
  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (16 years education) with at least 2nd division from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Physical Criteria (Male): Height 170 cm, Chest 34”-36”, BMI 27, 8-minute running
  • Physical Criteria (Female): Height 160 cm, BMI 27, 12-minute running
  • Age Limit: 22 to 28 years
  • Eyesight: 6/6 with glasses (Color blindness not eligible)

PERA Hiring Process for Enforcement & Investigation Officers


The Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA) has shared the full process for hiring Enforcement Officers and Investigation Officers. Candidates from any district in Punjab can apply online through the Punjab Job Portal (www.jobs.punjab.gov.pk) before the last date. Manual applications are not allowed.

The hiring process includes biometric verification, followed by a physical test in the candidate’s district. Those who pass will be called for a written exam conducted by PPSC. Shortlisted candidates will then appear in a psychological test and interview. Law degree holders applying for Investigation Officer will get extra marks in the interview. Final selection depends on medical clearance.

Candidates must pay two separate challan fees:

  • Challan-I (Rs. 400): For document check and physical test.
  • Challan-II: For those eligible for the written exam.

A digital domicile and a valid motorcycle or LTV driving license are required. Separate applications must be submitted for both posts if applying for both. Government employees must provide a NOC at the time of the interview. Only correct and complete applications will be considered.

PERA Written Test Syllabus for EO and IO Jobs

The Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA) has announced the written test syllabus for the posts of Enforcement Officer and Investigation Officer. The test will cover various subjects to check the general, legal, and technical knowledge of candidates.

The syllabus includes Legal and General Understanding, such as the Punjab Enforcement and Regulation Act 2024, selected chapters of Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) 1898, and parts of the Constitution of Pakistan 1973.

In General Knowledge, candidates must know about Punjab’s geography, population, agriculture, natural resources, and key historical events and personalities.

The Cultural and Governance History of Punjab will focus on cultural changes during Muslim, Sikh, and British periods, and governance structures before and after partition.

Other important subjects include Current Affairs, Basic Mathematics, Everyday Science, and English Language Comprehension (including grammar, synonyms, idioms, etc.).
