University of Peshawar Department of Psychology Admissions for Session 2025-26

The University of Peshawar is now accepting admissions for various postgraduate diploma programs in its Department of Psychology for the academic year 2025-26. Below are the details of the programs, eligibility criteria, admission schedule, and important instructions for prospective students.

List of Programs

Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology (PDCP)

Eligibility: Candidates must hold a Master’s degree (2 years) or a Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in Psychology or Applied Psychology. A minimum of 2nd Division (or equivalent) is required from an HEC recognized university. Candidates enrolled in other programs are not eligible.

Postgraduate Diploma in Speech & Language Therapy (PDSLT)

Eligibility: Preference will be given to candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, as well as those holding a diploma in Clinical Psychology or MA/MSc in Special Education. Candidates enrolled in other programs are not eligible.

Postgraduate Diploma in Forensic Psychology (PDFP)

Eligibility: Similar to the PDCP, candidates must have a Master’s degree (2 years) or a Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in Psychology or Applied Psychology with at least 2nd Division (or equivalent) from an HEC recognized university. Candidates enrolled in other programs are not eligible.

ssuance of Admission Forms: November 4, 2024 (Monday)
Last Date for Submission of Admission Forms: November 13, 2024 (Wednesday)
Screening Test Date: November 14, 2024 (Thursday)

Important Points to Remember

Candidates must qualify for a screening test and an interview to assess their suitability as Psychotherapists, Speech Therapists, or Forensic Psychologists.
