Punjab Schools Winter Vacation 2024-2025 Officially Announced

The Government of the Punjab, School Education Department, has officially announced the Winter Vacation schedule for 2024-2025. The notification, issued on 17th December 2024, applies to all public and private schools in Punjab.

Winter Vacation Dates

According to the notification the winter vacations will begin from 20th December 2024 (Friday) until 10th January 2025 (Friday).Schools will re-open on Monday, 13th January 2025. The dates of 11th and 12th January 2025 (Saturday and Sunday) are weekends, so schools will resume regular classes on the following Monday.

Face Mask Restrictions

The notification also mentions that wearing face masks inside school premises will still be required. This rule ensures safety and protection for students, teachers, and staff.

Instructions for Authorities

The Chief Executive Officers (DEA) and concerned officials are directed to ensure strict compliance with the winter vacation orders.
