The Federal Government Educational Institutions (FGEI), operating under the Ministry of Defence, has officially announced FGEI Teaching Jobs 2025 for the posts of Secondary School Teachers (SST) and Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT). A total of 700 vacancies have been opened—300 for SST and 400 for TGT—on a contract basis for one year, extendable upon requirement.

Available Teaching Positions

Secondary School Teacher (SST) – BS-17

• Total Seats: 300
• Eligibility: Master’s Degree (16 Years of Education) with B.Ed or equivalent qualification.
• Subjects: All subjects considered (general education background required).

Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – BS-16

• Total Seats: 400
• Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree (14 Years of Education) in the relevant subject with B.Ed.
• Subjects Offered:

Required Educational Qualification

For SST:

• Master’s Degree (2nd class or grade C) recognized by HEC
• B.Ed or equivalent professional teaching qualification
• M.A. Education Planning and Management (EPM) also accepted

For TGT:

• Bachelor’s Degree (2nd class or grade C) in relevant subject
• Must possess B.Ed from an HEC-recognized university

Quota & Seat Distribution

Quota is divided by province, region, and religious minority status:

• Punjab: 50%
• Sindh (Rural + Urban): 19%
• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK): 11.5%
• Balochistan: 6%
• Ex-FATA: 3%
• Gilgit Baltistan: 1%
• Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK): 2%

Both open merit and non-Muslim quota are allocated under each region.

Age Limit and Relaxation

• SST: 22 to 30 years + 5 years general relaxation
• TGT: 20 to 28 years + 5 years general relaxation

Additional age relaxation is applicable under government rules:

• 3 years for Scheduled Castes, Tribes, Gilgit Baltistan, etc.
• 10 years for government servants (2 years continuous service)
• 10 years for persons with disability
• 15 years for Armed Forces retirees
• 5 years for children/widows of civil servants who died in service

Selection Process

1. Written Test: Conducted at centers in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Multan, and Peshawar.
2. Shortlisting: Based on written test performance.
3. Interview: Candidates must bring original documents.
4. Verification: Fresh NOC required from existing government servants.
