Job Overview
The Store Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Stores and Inventory Control function. This involves managing supply chain operations for aircraft and non-aircraft parts, tooling, and equipment essential for maintenance operations at Emirates Flight Training Academy (EFTA). Additionally, the role requires strict adherence to the General Civil Aviation Authority Civil Aviation Regulations (CAR) and Emirates Group policies.
Required Qualifications and Experience
To qualify for the role of Store Coordinator, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Education: Minimum 12 years of schooling or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 3 years in supply chain roles within engineering, materials, or stores environments, including supervisory experience.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and storekeeping procedures.
- Proficiency in Oracle, Maintenance Management Systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to identify parts, materials, and tools used in aircraft maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of a Store Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
- Hazard Reporting and Risk Management
- Report hazards and manage risks to deliver accurate, timely, and customer-focused service.
- Ensure compliance with safety management and aviation security training.
- Inventory Management
- Receive and inspect goods from vendors or quarantine facilities, ensuring conformity with quality standards.
- Issue tools and spare parts to customers promptly to meet operational requirements.
- Oversee unserviceable items, arrange their repair or overhaul, and manage scrapping in compliance with CAR.
- Operational Efficiency
- Use maintenance information systems and Microsoft Office tools to manage supply chain operations effectively.
- Report stock levels, supplier performance, and recommend alternative vendors to improve operational efficiency.
- Vendor and Customer Liaison
- Coordinate with vendors for shipping, repairs, and warranty claims.
- Work closely with maintenance teams to source capital and consumable spares for improved service rates.
- Workshop Support
- Provide supply chain services to EFTA workshops to maximize the availability of repaired items.
